Mid Challenge Reminder Post

Hello everyone!  I slept in and when I woke up I realized I had not posted a reminder post!  I have really LOVED the beautiful angel projects posted so far!  Just gorgeous and love the variety of styles too.  I am still learning how to do anything digitally beyond editing my photos so bear with me!  This is one of my favorite verses...

So Artful Challenge: Calling All Angels

Hello and first off a big thank you for the kind welcome you all have extended to me! I really appreciate it, and secondly, WOW!  I have just been totally amazed at the fabulous creations you have shared!  I am way out of my league here but love seeing it all!

This fortnight I have two images again to choose from- and for some reason I could not get these two out of my mind all week...despite the fact that Halloween is just around the corner, I keep thinking of angels- so we are going with it.

So remember ANY kind of creation is welcome-enter as many times as you wish and use one or both of the inspiration pictures or just anything ANGEL!

The first I have had in my files for sometime now...if memory serves correctly its from a cemetery in Poland.  Not positive though... and the second, again I had it in my files but have lost the credits... if anyone knows what these are please let me know, and I will credit.  Thanks everyone- hope your weekend is relaxing and fun!

Mid Challenge Reminder Post

Hello everyone! Just popping in for a mid-challenge reminder post and to say you all have really just blown me away with your  creations!  What a talented bunch!
I fiddled around digitally with the images last weekend but nothing really came of it, so I did the hands-on approach and made a tag.  In real life it has lots of texture and depth, in the pics, not so much. Oh well.  It was fun to make and that's all that matters!

Don't forget you can use the inspiration pieces as a springboard or literally!  All kinds of crafts are welcome.

I will be back next Saturday with the next Challenge!  Until then, happy creating!

As The Crow Flies and Harvest Garden and an introduction

First off, let me say I am thrilled to be able to be a part of the SoArtful tradition!  I have been a side-line lurker in the past, but I decided to take the plunge and keep the challenges going! I am so grateful to Jeanette for her instructions and kind welcome!

I have admired the different participant's creations and am in awe of the talent out there!  I got into making ATC's last year and enjoy fiddling around with different elements, so I can't wait to play along and learn some new techniques and try new things!  I adore vintage themes as well as some of the darker/spookier elements too.

Nothing has really changed here at SoArtful other than (at least until the new year) it will be a two-week challenge,  but with two inspiration pieces to choose from.  That way if you are pressed for time, you will have two weeks to create something, but if  have more time to create, you can use both.  So you have the freedom to do one or both! Or make more than one project with one prompt!  No rules other than to have fun, and any sort of creation is welcome: digital, mixed media, clay, painting, fabric, fiber, cards, ATC's, chunkies, inchies , twinchies, 4x4's, art journal pages, and whatever else you can think of!  Take the inspiration piece literally or as a springboard for another idea.  Just be sure to mention us in your post and link to the challenge.  If you cannot get the linky frog to cooperate, please feel free to leave your entry in a comment as always!
