Introducing a New Feature at Soartful

Another wonderful week full of art to look at and blogs to
read. I love it.

For this week, I thought we would have a Christmas Theme.
When I saw this image it was love at first sight. I love the
gentle pastels. It inspired me.....I hope it does you.

This is my piece.

I always feel a bit special whenever one of my pieces
is added to a sampler or slide show on a challenge.

I want to do the same thing for you. You are all
special as are your art pieces but it is nice
to be extra special from time to time. Each week I will be
picking out 3 pieces to be on my 'Extra Special' list.
They will be posted at the end of each new challenge post.

EXTRA SPECIAL

She should have listened to her mother.

There is a 'lovely' glow to this.

I am sorry that I am just now linking my entry of "lovely" to your site!! Thanksgiving kept me so busy that my challenge deadlines just ran right past me! I downloaded the next challenge and promise to have it linked before Saturday morning! You don't have to post this one since it is so late! I just wanted you to see it anyway!! Thanks for all of your hard work and hosting this wonderful challenge!
Thank you,
Kym

Jeanette, I posted this same comment on my blog for you but you might not get back there so here it is. I only just got my Photoshop Elements 8 program a couple of months ago and still have tons to learn but the online class will get you making collages after the first lesson!
here's my post:
Thanks for the comments. Jeanette...I use Photoshop Elements 8 and without this class would have been putting it on the backburner for the next 5 years! Best 40.00 I ever spent and am going to take another class after Christmas. There's a link to the website with all the classes at Creative Workshop on the right. Check it out! I didn't make the textured background, it's an image of a net curtain from Painting with Brushes on Flickr.
